Mahindra & Mahindra has continued its strong growth momentum in the Indian automotive market, posting an impressive 37% year-on-year (YoY) increase in total vehicle sales for June 2026. The SUV maker crossed the significant milestone of 60,000 domestic SUV sales in a single month, reaffirming its leadership in India's fast-growing utility vehicle segment.

Mahindra sold 60,393 utility vehicles (SUVs) in the domestic market during June 2026, compared to 47,306 units in June 2025. This translates to a healthy 28% YoY growth, driven by sustained demand across its SUV portfolio.
Including exports, Mahindra's total utility vehicle sales stood at 61,504 units, highlighting the brand's growing presence in both domestic and international markets.
The company has been witnessing strong customer interest in popular models such as the Scorpio-N, Thar Roxx, XUV700, XUV 3XO, Bolero range, BE 6, and XEV 9e, while continued production ramp-up has helped improve deliveries despite high booking volumes.
Across all automotive segments, Mahindra reported total vehicle sales of 1,06,207 units in June 2026, including exports. This represents a 37% increase over the same month last year, making it one of the company's strongest monthly performances in recent years.
The growth was supported by robust demand across passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, three-wheelers, and exports.

Mahindra's export business also delivered a remarkable performance during June. Vehicle exports climbed to 4,054 units, marking a massive 125% YoY increase compared to the corresponding month last year.
The sharp rise indicates growing acceptance of Mahindra products in international markets and reflects the company's ongoing efforts to expand its global footprint.
Mahindra's Commercial Vehicle (CV) division also posted solid gains. Domestic commercial vehicle sales reached 26,076 units, registering 35% YoY growth.
The company witnessed healthy demand across its light commercial vehicle portfolio, supported by improving economic activity and infrastructure spending.
Mahindra's Farm Equipment Sector maintained its leadership position with encouraging tractor sales during June 2026. Domestic tractor sales increased by 12% YoY, reflecting healthy rural demand supported by favorable agricultural conditions and positive monsoon expectations.
The tractor business continues to remain one of Mahindra's key growth drivers alongside its automotive operations.
Commenting on the sales performance, Mahindra stated that sustained customer demand, improved production capacity, and a strong order pipeline have contributed to the company's robust growth. The automaker also highlighted that its expanding SUV portfolio and continued focus on innovation have strengthened its market position.
Mahindra enters the second half of 2026 with strong momentum.
