Based on the June 2026 passenger vehicle sales data, Tata Motors emerged as the market leader, with the Punch retaining the top position at 21,006 units, followed by the Nexon with 18,335 units, both recording significant year-on-year growth. Maruti Suzuki continued to dominate the rankings in terms of model presence, placing 10 vehicles in the top 25, led by the Dzire, Wagon R, Ertiga, and Swift, highlighting its broad market strength despite a decline in sales of the Brezza.

Mahindra demonstrated strong momentum, with the Scorpio, Thar, XUV 3XO, Bolero, and the newly introduced XUV 7X0 all featuring among the best-selling models. Hyundai saw healthy growth through the Venue and Exter, while Kia recorded impressive gains with both the Seltos and Sonet. Toyota maintained a steady presence with the Hyryder, Grand Vitara (manufactured by Maruti Suzuki but sold under both brands), and the Innova + Hycross, although the latter registered a year-on-year decline.
Top 10 Cars with ADAS in India 2026
Overall, the data indicates strong demand for compact SUVs and utility vehicles, with most models posting positive year-on-year growth. Newly launched models such as Maruti Suzuki Victoris and Mahindra XUV 7X0 also entered the top-selling list, reflecting positive market acceptance. The June 2026 sales performance suggests that SUVs continue to be the primary growth driver in the Indian passenger vehicle market, while established hatchbacks and MPVs remain important volume contributors.
