Toyota Glanza Facelift Launch Date Revealed

Toyota is preparing to give its premium hatchback, the Glanza, a significant update for the Indian market. The facelift is expected to make its debut on October 14, 2026, shortly after the launch of the updated Maruti Suzuki Baleno.

Since the Glanza and Baleno share their underlying platform, mechanical components and several features, the upcoming Toyota model is expected to receive many of the upgrades introduced with the latest Baleno facelift. However, Toyota is likely to retain some styling differences to give the Glanza its own identity.

New 1.2-Litre Three-Cylinder Petrol Engine Expected

However, Toyota is expected to give the Glanza a different front grille and bumper design. The company could also retain its own lighting and alloy-wheel treatment to distinguish the car from its Maruti sibling.

The latest Baleno facelift has already introduced a new three-cylinder petrol engine, Level 2 ADAS, ventilated seats and other technology upgrades, giving a strong indication of what Toyota's updated hatchback could receive.

Expected Price

The current Glanza is positioned in the premium hatchback segment, and the facelift could command a slight price increase because of its additional technology and equipment.

The current model's ex-showroom price range is around ₹6.73 lakh to ₹9.99 lakh, while the facelift is expected to be priced at a premium over the outgoing version. The final variant-wise pricing will be announced closer to the launch.
